Center — and an outstanding four-year university in Southeastern Oklahoma

 The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, with a membership of more than
100,000 Choctaw Indians, is headquartered in Durant. Since 1978, the tribe
has grown from 75 employees to over 1,500 workers. Under the leadership of
Chief Gregory E. Pyle, the tribe continues to focus emphasis on education
and currently graduates more college students than any other Indian tribe
in the nation.
Durant has one of the best-educated and most
productive labor pools available anywhere.
 With
